Izzy's patience, spending a full afternoon giving only 4 haircuts, drew out the beauty in each of our ladies.
Chepa knew EXACTLY how she wanted
She especially enjoyed the scalp massage, say, "Que rico!"
("How lovely!") She was quite pleased with the result.
Izzy also took the time to not only cut but style each woman's hair.
This care reinforced their individual value and drew out their unique beauty.
It took Chely a while to feel comfortable with Izzy.
She does not trust easily.
Izzy's patience soon won her over and she let her cut her hair.
These simple tasks are difficult for those who have suffered abuse.
